I’m sorry to say this, but… This movie is boring! I was playing Prince of Tennis: Glorious Gold while watching this. I played two full tournaments! XD
Anyways, the story is flat. It’s like hearing a monotone. The scene just changes from one to another without further explanations. Plus, there aren’t many dialogs.
Compared to the drama, the movie’s storyline isn’t deep. The music industry is taken out, so the characters’ backgrounds change. Kouji is passionate about surfing instead of playing the guitar, so Kaoru never mentions how she start singing.
The ending isn’t that depressing. The scene shifts to her inability to move freely and then shifts to her life’s end. It’s not really dramatic.
There’s one scene that I like though. Kaoru sees Kouji and runs to him. She introduces herself, spilling as much information as she can. It’s funny ^.^
I like Yui’s singing voice. Her songs are really good. The songs she sang in the movie wake me up from the boring scenes. It makes me glad there’s singing in this story. Or else, I’ll be asleep at the middle of the movie..
