The baseball club at a high school is banned for a violent behavior. The club members become delinquents. At a new school year, a new teacher enters the school. He is very enthusiastic and passionate about achieving dreams. He brings the team back together.
There is comedy. They turn little things into humor. The teacher messes up his speech, he tips his pants, he is loud…
This drama is more violent than other dropout school dramas. The actors are old to play high schoolers because the characters smoke and hit people until blood comes out. The baseball games are bloody. Kamiji Yuusuke plays a high school student o.o
The episodes aren’t episodic. It takes a while for Shinjo to join the team.
Shirota Yuu’s character is scary…
Nakao Akiyoshi’s hair stands up. I wonder how he puts the helmet on, lol.
The climax is painful to watch >.<
It’s interesting that the bad guy here is different from all the other school dramas. There is this other teacher that gets unconsciously abused by Kawato-sensei.
GReeeeN sings the ending theme song named Kiseki. I watch this drama because of this song XD I sing it a lot at karaoke. Well, I also watch the drama because I want to know why it’s popular.
Special: Takes place in-between the big jump in the last episode. I don’t find the issue in this story serious because it seems like the staffs’ excuse to make a special. It mostly contains flashback of the drama. You can skip the special if you want. Or just watch it instead of the whole drama.
Movie: Takes place after the drama. The club members are in their third year, their last tournament in their high school life. Yamamoto Yuusuke plays a freshman in their school.
